The United States and Ukraine have proposed a 30-day ceasefire. This plan needs Russia’s approval, as stated after talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Ukraine is ready to accept the ceasefire.It can be extended if both sides agree. Though, Russia must also implement it simultaneously occurring.
the U.S.will lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security aid to Ukraine. “Russian cooperation is key to peace,” the statement said. The talks in Jeddah lasted over eight hours.
