Moonshot Launches Simplified meme Coin Creation with Apple pay
Moonshot has unveiled Moonshot Create, a new feature that lets users make meme coins effortlessly. This tool streamlines the process into three simple steps, with Apple Pay integration for seamless payments.
Launched on June 27, this update makes it easier for anyone to create Solana-based tokens. Users just need to upload a meme image, choose the Create tab, and pay setup fees via Apple Pay. This feature removes the need for crypto expertise,opening the door for mainstream adoption.
Apple Pay support simplifies the creation process. Users can now focus on creativity rather than technical know-how.The platform introduced this feature alongside Apple Pay, broadening its appeal. It’s a game-changer for those new to crypto. No more complex wallet setups or blockchain knowledge. Just upload an image, select Create, and pay with Apple Pay. It’s perfect for beginners.
Each new token comes with a 0.5% trading fee. Once a token reaches “bonding” status by locking its supply to an on-chain liquidity curve.
Post-bonding fees drop to 0.3%, with creators earning up to 50% of all swap fees generated by their token’s trading pool. Verified tokens receive front-page placement within Moonshot’s app.
Pump.fun, a rival platform, also announced mobile app updates on the same day. New features include a feed tracking quickly rising token prices, one-button purchasing options for supported tokens, and a news section highlighting trending meme coins.
Both platforms launched their updates amid declining interest in meme coins over recent weeks. Trading volumes and new token launches have decreased as investors shift attention to other cryptocurrency sectors and market conditions remain volatile.
