Nasdaq-Listed Heritage Distilling Embraces Story protocol Tokens
Heritage Distilling Holding Company (Nasdaq: CASK) is making history by adopting Story Protocol’s IP tokens as its primary reserve asset. this groundbreaking move positions Heritage as the first U.S.company listed on Nasdaq to integrate blockchain IP assets into its financial strategy.
The deal involves a considerable $220 million private placement, funded through a blend of cash and token investments. A significant $82 million from Heritage will acquire IP tokens directly from the Story Foundation at $3.40 each. Upon completion, heritage’s treasury will secure around 52.5 million IP tokens, estimated at $361 million based on the latest market value.
Additionally, Heritage plans to raise $100 million through common stock and warrants, bolstered by contributions from strategic partners. The proceeds from the Story Foundation will focus on repurchasing IP tokens on the open market within 90 days, aiming to stabilize market conditions.
