Russia Proposes Crypto Seizure Law to Combat Crime
The Russian Ministry of Justice is working on a new bill. This bill aims to classify crypto assets as property.If passed, these assets could be seized in criminal cases. Deputy Minister Vadim Fedorov announced this on May 19.

Kraken, a Russian darknet market, has seen a 68% rise in crypto transactions. This happened despite global efforts to shut down darknet platforms. Hydra,another Russian market,was closed in April 2022. As then, Kraken has become the largest darknet market in Russia.
