RedotPay Teams Up with Circle for Crypto Payments in Brazil
RedotPay, a crypto payment platform, has teamed up with Circle to introduce a new crypto-to-fiat payment feature in Brazil. This partnership aims to make international transfers faster and cheaper.
The “Send Crypto, recieve BRL” feature is now live. It allows RedotPay’s 4 million users to send crypto directly to Brazilian bank accounts. The crypto is automatically converted into Brazilian Real. For a limited time, users can enjoy zero fees.
By using Circle’s infrastructure, RedotPay hopes to reduce the costs and delays of international transfers. Traditional cross-border payments can take days and include high fees and unfavorable exchange rates. The new feature enables real-time settlement between institutions.
RedotPay CEO Michael Gao said the partnership addresses two main issues for users in emerging markets: speed and cost. “we are committed to delivering faster and more affordable solutions that drive crypto payment adoption,” he said.
Circle VP of Product Sunil Sharma said the partnership supports Circle’s mission to modernize global payments infrastructure. It also aims to help underserved populations through stablecoin-powered solutions.
The move comes after RedotPay’s recent $40 million Series A funding round. it signals the company’s push to expand into other high-need regions using Circle’s payment rails. The service is now available through the RedotPay app on both iOS and Android.
