Plasma’s XPL Token Set for Major Exchange Listings
Plasma’s XPL token is gearing up for a big day. It will be listed on major exchanges like Binance, OKX, and Bybit. This event aligns with the project’s Token Generation Event (TGE) and mainnet beta launch.
Binance’s Alpha platform will be the first to feature XPL on September 25. A full spot listing will follow on the main Binance platform at 13:00 UTC. Other exchanges, including OKX, Bybit, Bitget, and Gate, will also list the token.
At TGE, the Genesis supply will be 10 billion XPL tokens. The initial circulating supply will be 1.8 billion tokens, or 18% of the Genesis supply. Plasma follows an inflationary model, with the max supply uncapped. inflation starts at 5% in the first year and decreases to a minimum of 3%.
Plasma has allocated 75 million XPL tokens for community airdrops via Binance’s HODLer Airdrops program. Another 100 million tokens are reserved for users who subscribed to the Plasma USDT Locked Product on Binance Earn.
Plasma is a Layer-1 blockchain designed for instant, fee-free stablecoin transactions. It combines Bitcoin’s security with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility. The project was initiated in 2024 and has backing from investors like Peter Thiel and Paolo Ardoino.
Plasma One, a stablecoin-based neobank and payments app, is part of the ecosystem. It offers zero-fee USDT transfers and stablecoin rewards. The project aims to become a global payments and DeFi infrastructure layer.
