Pendle Finance Teams Up with Plasma for Global DeFi Yield opportunities
Pendle Finance is partnering with Plasma’s digital bank to offer DeFi yield products worldwide.This collaboration aims to bring financial opportunities to everyone,including those without traditional banking access.
Five yield markets will launch on Plasma. These markets will offer annual percentage yields (apys) ranging from 12.67% to an impressive 649%. The sUSDe pool, for example, will launch on January 15, 2026, with a 25.9% APY and $8.74 million in liquidity.
Additionally, Pendle will distribute $900,000 worth of XPL tokens weekly. These incentives will boost yields for Yield Token holders and liquidity providers. Principal Token investors can also secure higher fixed rates.
This move follows Plasma’s mainnet beta launch, wich brought over $2 billion in stablecoin liquidity and more than 100 integrations. Plasma is a stablecoin-native Layer 1 platform with fast transaction finality and Bitcoin-secured DeFi.
By joining Plasma, Pendle expands its fixed- and variable-yield products.the USDe stablecoin,with over $13 billion in circulation,highlights the massive liquidity available for yield generation.
