Gradient Network Secures $10 Million to Decentralize AI on solana
Gradient Network, a project aiming to decentralize AI on Solana, has secured $10 million in seed funding. pantera Capital and Multicoin Capital led the round, announced on June 17, 2025. This funding will help Gradient Network democratize edge computing.
AI is becoming more common, but it raises concerns about privacy, fairness, and centralization. Gradient Network tackles these issues by using blockchain technology. their AI infrastructure includes distributed data, computing, and algorithm growth.
Gradient Network’s technology turns everyday devices into a global decentralized network. This improves streaming and computing speeds. The project’s blog post states, “This approach protects user privacy and makes AI more accessible. It also reduces biases found in centralized systems.”
Participating in the funding round were HSG (formerly Sequoia Capital China) and other crypto and AI investors. Gradient Network plans to develop two key technologies: Lattica, a peer-to-peer data communication protocol, and Parallax, an inference protocol for better AI scalability.
Decentralized infrastructure networks are gaining traction.Gradient Network joins projects like io.net, DePHY, and Aethir. Top DePIN projects by market cap include Bittensor, RENDER, and Theta Network.
