Ondo Finance Unites Crypto Heavyweights for Tokenized Securities
Ondo Finance is spearheading a new initiative to make tokenized securities more accessible worldwide. On June 17,Ondo announced the Global Markets Alliance,a coalition of crypto industry leaders.
The alliance includes the Solana Foundation, Fireblocks, BitGo, Trust Wallet, bitget Wallet, jupiter, and more. Together, they will develop technical and compliance standards for tokenized public securities like stocks and ETFs. The goal is to improve global accessibility, liquidity, and investor protection.
Before the launch of Ondo Global Markets, a platform for accessing U.S. securities from outside the U.S., Nathan allman, Ondo’s CEO, emphasized the need for standardization. “Access to U.S. capital markets has been inefficient. Tokenized securities can change this,” Allman stated.
Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet, sees tokenized securities as a bridge to broader financial opportunities. “They connect crypto users wiht real-world assets,” she noted.

Ondo has already achieved important milestones, such as launching tokenized U.S.Treasuries on the XRP Ledger and completing cross-chain settlements. The Global Markets Alliance marks another step towards integrating tokenized securities into the global financial system.
