NHL Partners with Ndax for 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs
The National Hockey League (NHL) has teamed up with Ndax, a leading Canadian crypto exchange, for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.This is the NHL’s first crypto partnership and Ndax’s first venture into professional sports.
As part of the deal, Ndax will gain significant brand exposure during Canadian playoff games. Their logo will be visible on NHL’s in-ice brand positions.Ndax CEO, Bilal Hammoud, said, “We’re integrating Ndax into the playoff atmosphere to build awareness and interest in crypto adoption in Canada.”
The NHL’s Digital Enhanced Dasherboards will also feature Ndax branding. This system allows for localized, market-specific messaging during national broadcasts, giving Ndax a unique way to reach Canadian viewers.
Max Paulsen, NHL Vice President of Business Development, praised Ndax’s leadership and credibility in the crypto space. “We believe in their leadership and want to grow with them,” he said.
The partnership includes the “Ndax ICE” fan activation campaign. This campaign will offer weekly and round-based giveaways, with winners receiving crypto credits and a chance to win tickets to the 2025 Stanley Cup Final.
Ndax is also launching the “Ndax Lighthouse,” a learning hub for crypto newcomers. It features tutorials and a simplified glossary to help users feel confident about entering the crypto world.
The campaign aims to onboard 100,000 new users and boost recognition among Gen Z and Millennials. Ndax has reported over $17.5 billion in lifetime trading volume and holds one of the largest strategic Bitcoin reserves in Canada.
