Bitget Wallet Launches crypto Cards with Mastercard and Immersve
Bitget Wallet has teamed up with Mastercard and Immersve to introduce new crypto cards. These cards enable fee-free payments directly from digital wallets. The cards are available via the Bitget Wallet app and support real-time payments through on-chain swaps and deposits.
users can make payments at over 150 merchants globally that accept Mastercard.The cards will first launch in the UK and EU, with plans to expand to Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand soon. The partnership aims to simplify crypto transactions.
With Mastercard’s “Digital First” feature, users can get digital cards quickly. Once approved, the card is added to mobile wallets for use at physical and online stores. Immersve, a Mastercard-licensed issuer, ensures transactions comply with regulations like Know-Your-Customer and Anti-Money-Laundering rules. Scott Abrahams, Mastercard’s global partnerships Executive Vice President, sees this as a step towards widespread crypto adoption. He believes digital wallets are becoming as common as email addresses.
Bitget wallet’s CMO, Jamie Elkaleh, says the partnership makes crypto payments as seamless as customary ones. The cards convert crypto to fiat on-chain, making crypto more accessible.

Mastercard recently partnered with Chainlink for on-chain crypto purchases.They predict EU transactions will be tokenized by 2030.This move reflects growing demand for practical crypto use.
