Norwegian Broker K33 Invests in bitcoin with Strategic Purchase
K33, a digital asset brokerage from Norway, has taken a significant step in the crypto world. The company recently bought 10 Bitcoin for about SEK 10 million. This move is the first under its new Bitcoin Treasury strategy.
K33,listed on the Nasdaq First North growth Market,plans to grow its Bitcoin holdings. The goal is to own at least 1,000 BTC in the future. CEO Torbjørn Bull Jenssen believes in Bitcoin’s long-term potential. He sees it as a key part of the global financial system.
The purchase comes after K33 raised SEK 60 million from investors. this funding will support the Bitcoin treasury. The capital raise included new shares and warrants. If fully used, these warrants could bring in an extra SEK 75 million by March 2026.
