Exaion Joins Etherlink as Validator, boosting Tezos Layer 2 Security
Exaion, a tech arm of EDF Group, has become a validator for Etherlink, a Tezos-based layer 2 blockchain. This move enhances teh network’s security and stability.
Exaion specializes in high-performance computing and cloud solutions for blockchains. By joining Etherlink,it supports a platform that’s compatible with Ethereum’s Virtual Machine. Etherlink uses Tezos’ smart rollup technology for better scalability and security.
Exaion’s CEO, Fatih Balyeli, said, “We’re excited to maintain network security and offer top-notch digital services. Supporting Tezos aligns with our mission.”
Etherlink, launched in late 2024, connects with other EVM-compatible chains. It’s gaining traction, attracting platforms like Spiko and Midas.
Arthur Breitman, Tezos co-founder, noted, “More reputable validators make Etherlink more robust. Rollup security needs at least one honest validator.”
Exaion’s involvement boosts Etherlink’s decentralization and growth. It’s a significant step for the Tezos layer 2 solution.
