A Bitcoin wallet that had been inactive for eight years has suddenly sprung to life. Blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence reported that the wallet moved over $250 million worth of Bitcoin in recent transactions.

Arkham Intelligence,a blockchain analytics firm,tracked the movements. The wallet, which had been dormant for eight years, transferred over $250 million in Bitcoin in two batches. Each batch involved around 3,000 BTC, valued at about $252 million per transfer.
When the Bitcoin was initially purchased around 2016, it was purchased when Bitcoin was trading at around $1,000.
