Crypto Projects Secure $351 Million in Funding
From September 28 to October 4, crypto projects raised $351 million across 13 deals. Flying Tulip led the pack with a $200 million seed round, highlighting the week’s focus on DeFi and finance ventures.
Flying Tulip, an on-chain exchange, secured $200 million in seed funding. Backed by Brevan Howard, CoinFund, and DWF Labs, the startup now has a $1 billion valuation.This funding round underscores the growing interest in DeFi and finance-focused startups.
Other notable projects also grabbed attention. xMoney, a payment infrastructure platform, raised $21.5 million.investors like the Sui foundation and MultiversX supported the platform. so far, xMoney has amassed $31.5 million.
Lava, a lending platform, raised $17.5 million,bringing its total funding to $27.5 million. The platform offers up to 7.5% yield on USD by funding bitcoin-backed loans. Lava’s backers include industry leaders like Peter Jurdjevic of Qatar Investment Authority and Zach White of 8VC.
AmbrusStudio, a gaming and NFT company, gathered $15 million. The company operates in gaming, NFTs, and sports sectors. Their E4C token is gaining traction in the gaming industry.
