AI, Blockchain, and Fintech Startups Secure Major Funding
This week, several startups at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and fintech announced meaningful funding rounds. Codex topped the list, securing $15.8 million in a seed round led by Dragonfly Capital. Coinbase, Circle, and other investors also participated.
Ultra, a Luxembourg-based company, received funding from NOIA Capital. The investment comes after the appointment of Gus van Rijckevorsel as CEO. The9 Limited, a cryptocurrency firm, raised $8 million from elune Capital, Fine Vision Fund, and Bripheno Pte. Ltd.
Ambient, an AI and blockchain project, raised $7.2 million. It uses a Bitcoin-like proof-of-work mechanism for security and a Solana-style architecture for speed. Cambrian Network, a decentralized AI finance protocol, secured $5.9 million. The funding will support its testnet and involvement in the CSX 04 accelerator.
Mahojin,an AI and blockchain integration project,raised $5 million. It focuses on building AI-powered decentralized applications. Momentum, an early-stage startup, also raised $5 million to automate collaboration between sales teams.
Other notable crypto VC funding rounds include The Fragmetric token sale, Collecto’s luxury investment platform, and Hana Network’s hyper-casual finance platform.Bloctopus, StakeStone, and BAI Fund each raised $1 million.
