ADGM and Chainlink Team Up for Blockchain Innovation
Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) has teamed up with Chainlink to advance blockchain technology. This partnership aims to set new standards for blockchain and AI regulation.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will support blockchain projects registered with ADGM. It will give them access to Chainlink’s infrastructure and expertise. The collaboration also plans educational events on topics like cross-chain interoperability and proof of reserves.
Tokenization is a key focus. It involves converting real-world assets into digital tokens for trading on a blockchain. ADGM and Chainlink will organise workshops to educate businesses and regulators about blockchain’s potential.
Chainlink, known for connecting real-world data to smart contracts, has facilitated over $19 trillion in transactions. Its technology helps verify and secure blockchain transactions, making it popular among financial institutions.
Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, CEO of ADGM’s Registration Authority, believes this partnership will shape global regulatory approaches. It aims to promote trust in blockchain systems and establish ADGM as a global hub for blockchain innovation.
By collaborating with Chainlink, ADGM seeks to create a compliant and scalable ecosystem for digital assets and DeFi. This move could help establish rules for digital asset creation, transfer, and management while ensuring financial regulation compliance.
