Binance to Delist ALPACA, PDA, VIB, and WING Tokens
Binance has announced it will remove spot trading pairs for ALPACA, PDA, VIB, and WING tokens on May 2, 2025. The decision comes after a thorough review of these tokens.
The delisting will occur at 03:00 UTC on may 2. All open orders for these tokens will be canceled automatically. Binance advises users to cancel or update any active trading bots to prevent losses.
Support for these tokens across various Binance products will also be phased out. This includes Margin, Futures, Loans, Simple Earn, Pay, convert, and Dual Investment. Withdrawals will remain open until July 4. After that, leftover balances may be converted to stablecoins starting July 5.
Binance conducts regular reviews to ensure listed assets meet its standards. Factors like project development, trading volume, community engagement, team commitment, and regulatory compliance were considered.
Following the announcement,PDA,VIB,and WING tokens saw notable price drops. However, ALPACA initially fell but then surged by 70%, possibly due to traders buying on the dip.
This delisting comes amid fresh accusations against Binance. AERGO’s price crashed over 70% after debuting on Binance Futures, sparking speculation of manipulation.
