Aptos CEO to Testify at Congressional Hearing on Digital Assets
Avery Ching, CEO of Aptos labs, is set to testify at a U.S.Congress hearing on digital assets. The event, titled “American Innovation and the Future of Digital Assets,” will take place on June 4. Ching’s appearance is a significant moment for the blockchain industry.

Following the announcement, Aptos’ native token, APT, saw a 5% price surge. It climbed from $4.68 to a peak of $4.96. At the time of writing, APT is trading at $4.93, up 4.5%.The token’s market cap is now $3.1 billion, with a 20.9% increase in daily trading volume.
Ching is one of four experts invited to the hearing.Others include Michael Piwowar, Chelsea E. Pizzola, and Ryne Miller. their testimonies will shape the future of digital assets in the U.S.
