Elon Musk’s Alleged Pregnancy Request Sparks Controversy
Influencer Tiffany fong recently claimed that Elon musk asked her to have his child. This revelation has sparked a media frenzy, with tabloids speculating wildly. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when Polymarket, a betting platform, approved a wager on Fong’s potential pregnancy on April 17. This move drew sharp criticism from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
Buterin tweeted that the bet was “tasteless” and a violation of privacy. He was referring to an AI-generated image of Fong, seemingly pregnant, in front of the White House, linking it to Musk’s role in the current management. The tech billionaire allegedly made the request after months of communication on Twitter and in DMs. Fong declined, leading Musk to unfollow her and end her revenue-sharing deal with the platform.
Buterin,co-founder of Ethereum, condemned the bet as disrespectful. “I personally think this is tasteless and a breach of privacy,” he said. The controversy began after a WSJ report suggested Musk had made the proposition. Fong, known as a “reluctant crypto journalist,” gained prominence after interviewing FTX CEO Sam Bankman-fried.
Polymarket, known for controversial bets, has faced criticism before. They’ve facilitated wagers on global conflicts, like Israel invading Syria, and the duration of LA wildfires. This latest bet on Fong’s pregnancy has only added to the platform’s contentious reputation.
