Constellation Network Launches Digital Evidence for Secure Compliance
Constellation Network has unveiled Digital Evidence, a tamper-proof solution for law enforcement and emergency services. This innovation ensures data integrity using blockchain technology.
Digital Evidence stems from constellation’s six-year collaboration with the U.S.Department of Defence on the Iron SPIDR project. This project secured critical mission communications.Now, Digital Evidence creates immutable records, perfect for legal and compliance needs.
Law enforcement and other organizations can streamline evidence collection and reporting. This reduces time and costs in compliance cases. the public sector spends over $3.6 billion yearly on compliance-related legal defense.
The system gathers data from police vehicles, fire trucks, and EMS systems. It generates immutable records that can be used as court-admissible evidence. Constellation is partnering with Panasonic to deploy the solution via its TOUGHBOOK platform.
Constellation is also exploring pilot use cases in AI datasets, retail analytics, and intellectual property protection. Aidan Clifford, Director of Market Solutions at Panasonic Toughbook, said, “We’re excited to explore new markets with Digital Evidence.”
Organizations using Digital Evidence will receive a “Smart Checkmark” certification. This verifies their data collection and auditing practices. Constellation is also developing integrations with business intelligence tools and AI platforms.
