CODE OF JOKER: EVOLUTIONS Launches on Sui Blockchain
Parasol, a division of Mysten Labs, announced that CODE OF JOKER: EVOLUTIONS will debut on the Sui blockchain.This SEGA-licensed game, developed by Jokers Incorporated, is set for release on iOS, Android, and Web in summer 2025.
CODE OF JOKER, originally launched in 2013, gained popularity among trading card game fans. The new version leverages Sui’s blockchain technology,enabling players to own,trade,and share digital assets in a decentralized way. This move brings customary gaming closer to the blockchain world.
Why Sui? It’s a Layer 1 blockchain designed for fast, secure, and scalable transactions. Its architecture supports modern gaming needs,making it ideal for this project. Jokers co-founder Takashi Mizuoka believes Sui is the perfect fit for his vision.
Evan Cheng, Mysten Labs CEO, sees this as a step towards Web3 gaming. “CODE OF JOKER: EVOLUTIONS combines classic gaming with blockchain, marking a significant milestone,” he said.
Parasol CEO Kai Chen added, “Sui provides the technical support our partners need. We’re excited about this collaboration with Jokers Inc.and SEGA.”
Other innovative games like XOCIETY and SuiPlay0X1 are also part of Sui’s growing ecosystem, showcasing the platform’s potential in Web3 gaming.
